Dancing Parallel 2012

Dancing Parallel by Nic Sandiland. The central image is a female figure dancing with her arm above her head. In the background are other dancers moving.

“The programme is completed with a beautiful film by Nic Sandiland in which three groups of young dancers from England, Scotland and Wales leap around with chairs. There are hints of Lloyd Newson to the movement material, which is energetic and physical, and the film is a welcome reminder of the quality of youth dance work taking place in all three GB nations.”
