Essex  1999

Essex by Nic Sandiland. A man dressed in black stands in the centre with his arm out stretched. Behind him is a green tinted projection of two images of the same man.

A solo performance integrating video, text and minimalist pedestrian choreography.

The piece was semi-autobiographical in nature, based on the experience of growing up in the semi-rural landscape of South Essex.
