Uncharted 1996

Uncharted was created for an old buoy-making workshop in London Docklands. The first impression on entering the small, darkened attic space was of a large shadow cast by a shipping buoy hovering in the middle of the space.

As viewers navigate the space it became apparent that the shadow is in reality a hole. At a certain vantage point viewers experienced a shift in perspective as they glimpsed an abandoned torch illuminating the rafters twenty metres away.
