Disappearing Acts 2016

“Flexer’s articulate, supple choreography and Sandiland’s imaginative digital installations conjure up the thresholds of what we can or cannot see.”

- Josephine Leask, LondonDance.com

Disappearing Acts is an immersive performance offering subtle readings of the body presented on the threshold of visibility.

The work is presented to an audience of thirty at a time, sat onstage on a circle of rotating chairs. Evocative images, stories and wry humour give voice to experiences of disappearance, night-time and politically ‘dark times’.
